Blonde Hair Jordan

I know I write a lot about baseball...I know this. But it's May. It's the summer. I'm an American. What more can I say? Last night was a good night my friends. AA (double a) baseball. I went to see the Birmingham Barons play the Jacksonville Suns. I was joined by a couple of buddies from the cigar shop, Mark and Marvin, good guys. It was "Thirsty Thursday." Dollar beer night people. If White Sox and Dodger affiliates going at it isn't your thing...I'm sure beer is...or could be.

Now I'm a baseball fan, I am. But, rooting for a White Sox organization is a conflict of interest for me because of my Chicago Northside association...The Cubs. And I sure as hell ain't a Dodgas fan, so baseball game interest was at an all time low. That said, I was no better than any of the other fratastic ass bags pounding the beer. I too, had some hops. That shit was cold too, so good.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but they ran out of Coke. How does a baseball park run out of Coke. That's just as much an American establishment to baseball as beer, right? Maybe not. Nonetheless, I had no other choice. So...three beers, a brat, nachos with jalapeƱos, and funnel cake later...I was good, real good (Ron Burgundy voice).

I tried to watch what I could of the game. However, there were some gorgeous distractions around. Cubs game...wouldn't even care about the eye candy. AA baseball, more importantly a White Sox team...different story. It was a little difficult to decipher cutter/sinker last night. Simply because my line of sight to home plate was skewed by a blonde with legs for days.* I'm not complaining.

*Yes, I'll pay for the "legs for days" comment. Fortunately, I've already bought tickets for the Sex and the City movie tonight to smooth things over. I couldn't help but wonder if it's going to be any good.

it is! it is!!!!!!!!!! i'll be honest, there weren't too many men-folk in the theater last night...i've never been surrounded by so much estrogen...but, when the theme came on at the beginning of the movie, there was applause...the audience contributed essential "ooooooohhhhs" and "ahhhhhhs" and "wtfs?!" and.....there's pllllllenty of nudity! (of both sexes)

We just went to see SATC last night. My husband went reluctantly. I'll post a review tomorrow on my blog. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on it. I thought it was pretty good, but not as good as the show.
